A basic meeting can have up to 300 participants, and a Large Meeting option for up to 500 participants is available. The host can share hosting responsibilities with other participants. Additional Information: Include as much information as possible about this event (Ex: expected number of attendees, additional panelist, preference for registration, screen sharing requirements, Q&A and chat preferences). A meeting is a Zoom event where one person is the host and all other participants have equal footing.Operating System: Select the operating system that is running on the device which you will be using to lead the webinar.Location: Enter where the location from where you will be leading the webinar (Ex: Home, Peabody Office, Classroom).End: Enter the end date and time of the webinar.State: Enter the start date and time of the webinar.Requested for department: Should be pre-filled.Requested for: The person who will be responsible for leading the webinar. Marketing and Communications facilitates the hosting of Zoom webinars, which offer the ability for a panel of up to 100 people to broadcast to an audience.

Complete the request form and submit by clicking on the Order Now button.

Search for “web conferencing” using the search bar at the top of the screen and click on the Web Conferencing Request.

Webinars can require preregistration-with the option for the host to add custom registration questions-or registration can be turned off so that attendees can join simply by clicking a link at the time of the webinar. As the host or a panelist in a webinar, you can share your screen, video, and audio, while attendees can use question and answer options to interact with the host and panelists. Zoom Webinar allows you to host a Zoom meeting with up to 500 participants, including panelists and attendees.

Requests to use the webinar license should be made a minimum of one week in advance of the actual webinar event. This article provides information about Zoom Webinar and outlines the process for scheduling the use of the shared license. The School of Education has a shared Zoom Webinar license that can be used by faculty and staff for school-sponsored events.
